Ordaia: Dawn of Legends
Ordaia is a homebrew campaign setting for the Pathfinder ruleset. It is loosely modeled after Earth; the campaign Dawn of Legends is set in a mythic Bronze Age similar to the Greek epics such as the Iliad and the Odyssey. The gods walk the land and often directly intervene in mortal affairs, and are often just as petty, emotional, and irrational as the men and women that worship them.
The gods themselves are a family of outsiders, having arrived in the world well after its creation. Temple doctrine holds that they were forced to abandon another world to a great evil from the stars, and have vowed to never let this evil despoil this realm. This “great evil” was in fact Christianity, and the family of gods is none other than the surviving Greek deities, who later became the Norse deities and after a long struggle against the Christians were forced from Earth. They arrived on the “new world”, which they christened Ordaia and began clearing of the strange and vicious monsters that ruled land, sky and sea.
